ECFS co-authored DCFLC’s Core Recommendations for DC Mayor Muriel Bowser

1/28/22- I am so proud to have had the opportunity to collaborate with great people and minds in co-authoring the DC Financial Literacy Council’s Core Recommendations for the Fiscal Year 2021 Action Plan. Together, the DCFLC worked with numerous community-based organizations, financial education providers, the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) and other District agencies to develop a consensus view of the qualitative and quantitative state of financial literacy in the District and then provided these recommendations to DC Mayor Muriel Bowser.

Collectively, we will continue to make progress in order to heighten financial education in the District of Columbia. This report is a step in that direction. Link to document can be found here.
