ECFS Teaches Fin Lit at Benjamin Banneker Academic SHS

7/27/22- “It was a privilege for ECFS to teach the students of Benjamin Banneker Academic Senior High School” said CEO/ Founder of ECFS Allen Cheaves, a Banneker alum.

It was a privilege for Extra Credit Financial Solutions to teach the students of Benjamin Banneker Academic Senior High School, the alma mater of ECFS Founder, Mr. Allen Cheaves. During the class, the 70+ students were provided with an “Intro to Personal Finance;” touching on various subjects like: budgeting, consumer behaviors, unemployment, COVID-19’s effect on the economy, etc.

As a District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) Registered Program Provider for the upcoming 2022 - 2023 school year, ECFS looks forward for more opportunities to teach not only the students of Banneker SHS but the collective student constituency of The District.
